I love buying things from Amazon. Their selection is the best on the web, their service is terrific, and I always get my stuff on time.

One thing I sometimes like to do, especially when buying gifts for people, is to see what the hottest items are for different categories. If something’s popular with others, there’s a pretty good chance it’ll be a hit with a friend or loved one. Even when buying for ourselves, we sometimes decide to forgo the research and buy one of the most popular versions of whatever it is we want.

Sometimes it just makes a lot of sense to make our decisions based on what other people are doing.

One difficulty with Amazon is that it’s difficult to quickly get Top 10 lists for their many departments. You can eventually sort items in best selling order once you find what you’re looking for, but it takes some time.

I wanted to create a tool that gave me Top 10 lists in popular gift categories with just a single click, and Best Selling Merchandise does that very well. I love its ease and simplicity, and how quickly it can generate a lot of great gift ideas. I hope you do, too.
